Smart lubricators OPTIME C1: selection, fitting and lubrication monitoring
We set up Schaeffler OPTIME C1 smart lubricators at your site: automatic bearing lubricators that report their own condition and grease level. They suit maintenance teams who want to cut back on manual greasing and routine inspection rounds.

What we do
OPTIME C1 lubricators
We set up Schaeffler OPTIME C1 automatic lubricators, which bring together the CONCEPT lubricator range and condition monitoring from the OPTIME family. Each unit is set individually, an electric pump provides a pressure reserve of up to 10 bar and the battery is replaceable.
Concept1 cartridges and grease
OPTIME C1 works with screw-in Concept1 cartridges, filled with ARCANOL grease or an alternative; we check as part of the quote whether the grease you use now is suitable. When a cartridge is changed, the OPTIME app shows the right grease and settings for that particular lubricator.
Connectivity: NFC, mesh and gateway
Lubricators are added via NFC on a plug-and-play basis and form a mesh network between themselves. A gateway passes the data on over a SIM card (mobile network) or Ethernet.
App and dashboard (OPTIME Digital Service)
The mobile app and web dashboard show each lubricator's condition and grease level – beside the machine, in the office or away from site. If anything goes wrong, the system notifies you automatically.
Planning maintenance and inspection rounds
Use the system's data to plan maintenance and inspection rounds instead of checking every lubricator in turn.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an OPTIME C1 set-up cost, and is there a subscription for the app?
Prices for the lubricators, cartridges and set-up, plus any OPTIME Digital Service charges, are set out in the quote we prepare for your site. It helps to state in the form the number of lubrication points and how they are greased today – we will then also tell you whether the system is worthwhile for you.
Can I fill the cartridges with my own grease?
Concept1 cartridges are filled with ARCANOL or an alternative grease. Name the grease you use in your enquiry and we will confirm in the quote whether it is suitable.
We already use automatic lubricators – can we switch to OPTIME C1?
List your current lubricators and the machines they serve in the form. We will check whether and how they can be replaced with OPTIME C1 units and set this out in the quote.
What does the system need to transmit data?
The lubricators link up in a mesh network, and the gateway sends data over a SIM card or Ethernet. We will set out the network and power requirements for the gateway at your site in the quote.
Do you work across Poland and in Germany?
Yes. We carry out work throughout Poland and in Germany. Tell us in the form where the machines are located and we will take it into account in the quote.
