Linear motion systems: selection, cutting, machining and fitting

Linear motion systems made to measure: we select, cut to length, machine and fit linear guides, ground shafts and ball screws. We work in Poland and Germany for machine builders and companies automating production lines.

When you need it

  • A linear guide or ball screw in your machine is worn, and its marking is illegible or means nothing to you.
  • You are building a machine or piece of equipment and need a linear axis matched to the travel accuracy you require.
  • You are automating a production line and want to assemble the linear system from standard modules rather than design it from scratch.
  • You need rails cut to length, or a rail longer than one standard length, made up of butt-jointed sections.
  • Drawings for an older machine are missing and you want the documentation recreated before replacing parts.

What we do

Measurement and identification

We measure guides and ball screws, identify the thread lead and check the end journals. This works whatever the manufacturer, and on site at your plant if needed.

Concept and selection

Based on the measurements, we select components to meet the required accuracy and build the system from modules made of standard parts. Selecting and preparing the components is our responsibility.

Cutting rails to length

As standard, we cut rails to length with a tolerance of ±1 mm. We also precision-cut rails for butt joints, so that several sections can be combined into the overall length you need.

Shaft and ball screw machining

We measure and machine ground shafts and ball screws for your project. Afterwards, every part is checked for quality and for fit with the rest of the system.

Documentation and CAD sketches

We recreate technical documentation for existing axes and produce CAD sketches that make later part replacement or extension easier.

Fitting, lubrication, training

We prepare the system for installation, fit the linear guides and select automatic lubricators for them. We also recommend accessories that extend the service life of the guides, and run linear motion training on topics agreed with you.

How it works

  1. 1

You send an enquiry through the form on this page. Our sales team usually replies within one working day, by phone or email.

  2. 2

Consultation and measurement: we establish what you need and check your existing guides and ball screws, on site if required.

  3. 3

Concept and quotation: we put the system together from standard modules, confirm part compatibility at concept stage and send you a quotation.

  4. 4

Machining: we cut and machine the components, checking every part for quality and fit.

  5. 5

Implementation: components go to the address you specify, and if you wish, we fit the system and train your team to operate it.

What you get

  • A linear system matched to the travel accuracy you need, with parts checked for fit with each other.
  • Components cut and machined for your project, delivered or fully fitted.
  • A modular design you can adapt to new requirements later while keeping the line running.
  • A trained team and, if you wish, ongoing servicing of the line, with scope and terms set out in the quotation.

Frequently asked questions

Where do you carry out the work?

We work throughout Poland and in Germany. Where needed, we come to your plant to measure and check parts on site or to fit the system.

How much does it cost and how long does it take?

Price and lead time are set for each project individually and stated in the quotation we prepare from your enquiry. We usually reply within one working day.

Can you identify a guide or screw from another manufacturer if the marking is unreadable?

We can take this on: we identify parts by measurement, whoever made them, including determining the screw's thread lead and checking its end journals.

How accurately do you cut rails?

As standard, we cut rails to length with a tolerance of ±1 mm. The accuracy of precision cutting for butt-jointed rails will be stated in the quotation for your project.

What information should I include in my enquiry?

Ideally the marking or dimensions of the guide, screw or shaft, the length you need, the machine type and the site location. If the marking is unreadable, describe the part and its application – we will establish the rest when we measure it.
