Machine condition monitoring and vibration analysis
We carry out machine condition monitoring at your plant: sensors record operating data and vibration continuously, or we measure at set intervals and can prepare a report on the results. It suits maintenance teams who would rather plan downtime than react to breakdowns.
When you need it
- A production-critical machine has already failed without warning, and you don't want a repeat.
- Pumps, fans or compressors are checked rarely, or only once they start to sound wrong.
- You plan maintenance shutdowns and need condition data to schedule service work in advance.
- Your machines are spread across several buildings, and manual walk-round readings take too long.
- You want warnings to reach your maintenance staff straight away, not wait for the next inspection.
What we do
Wireless continuous monitoring
We fit sensors that send their data over a wireless IoT network. The system can be extended to further machines or transferred to a different set of equipment.
Permanently installed systems for critical assets
For production-critical machines we specify a permanently installed system. This can be a compact unit at the machine that tracks operating and process parameters locally, or a modular online system for vibration analysis.
Alerts for your maintenance team
When the system detects a developing fault, it notifies the people responsible automatically. You decide who receives the alerts and who analyses them.
Condition assessment in the app
Algorithms and machine learning assess machine condition from a digital model of your equipment. Results are available around the clock in the app, including on your phone.
Periodic vibration measurements (offline)
For machines whose failure does not stop production immediately, a lower-cost option is vibration measurement and analysis at regular intervals agreed in the quote. We check pumps, vacuum pumps, fans, compressors and electric motors, among others, and can prepare a report from the data collected.
How it works
- 1
You send an enquiry through the form on this page: which machines, the conditions they run in and where your plant is. Our sales team usually replies within one working day.
- 2
We visit your site, look at the machines and agree with you what is worth monitoring and how.
- 3
We choose the option that suits your operating conditions – continuous monitoring or periodic measurements – and set it out in our quote.
- 4
For continuous monitoring we fit the sensors non-invasively and configure the system. After a learning phase you have an early-warning system ready to use.
- 5
For continuous monitoring we supervise the system under a subscription and give you expert support, with current diagnostic data in the app. For periodic measurements we visit at the agreed intervals.
What you get
- Early warning of developing faults, before the machine stops.
- Service work scheduled when it suits you instead of unplanned downtime.
- Alerts sent directly to the maintenance staff you nominate.
- With periodic measurements: a report on the collected data if you need one.
Frequently asked questions
How much does machine condition monitoring cost?
We give you the price in our quote once you have described your requirements; it depends on factors such as the number of machines and the option you choose. For production-critical machines we recommend continuous vibration monitoring, as it reduces the risk of sudden breakdowns and their costly knock-on effects. Where a failure does not stop the line straight away, lower-cost periodic measurements are enough.
Which machines can you monitor?
We measure and monitor vibration on pumps, vacuum pumps, fans, compressors and electric motors, among others. Describe your equipment in your enquiry and we will agree during the site visit which machines are worth monitoring.
Does the machine have to be stopped to fit the sensors?
We fit the sensors non-invasively and agree during the site visit whether a stop is needed while we do so. If your site has specific access rules, please mention them in your enquiry.
Do we need our own vibration specialists?
No. We fit and configure the sensors, and algorithms in the app assess machine condition; with periodic measurements we carry out the measurement and vibration analysis ourselves. You decide who receives the alerts.
Where do you carry out condition monitoring?
At plants throughout Poland and in Germany. Tell us where the machines are in your enquiry and we will take it into account in the quote.
