Description
Secures the locknut in axial position on the shaft by bending one of its tabs into the corresponding slot of the nut and the other into the keyway of the shaft, preventing the nut from loosening under operating loads. Main dimensions are made to DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 130.0 mm and an outside diameter of 175.0 mm; the net mass is 104.0 g. This tab washer is designed for use together with the matching locknut of the same bore size, forming a locking assembly for bearing arrangements on cylindrical or tapered shaft seats. It carries no independent load rating or speed limit, as its function is purely to lock the nut mechanically once the assembly has been tightened to the required position.
