Description
This tab washer secures a locknut on a shaft assembly by engaging with a slot in the nut and bending against a groove on the shaft, preventing unintentional loosening under operating loads. Main dimensions follow DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 150.0 mm and an outside diameter of 205.0 mm; net mass is 148.0 g. Used together with a matching locknut of corresponding bore size, MB30 locks the nut in the axial position set during bearing mounting and adjustment. The tab is bent into one of the nut slots after tightening, giving a mechanical lock that holds the set position without relying on friction alone, which keeps the correct bearing clearance during operation.
