Description
Locks the round nut in place on the shaft thread by bending one of its tabs into the corresponding groove, preventing the nut from loosening under rotation or vibration. Main dimensions follow DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 145.0 mm and an outside diameter of 202.0 mm; net mass is 164.0 g. This securing plate, designated MB29, is fitted together with the matching round nut in bearing arrangements where axial positioning on the shaft is required. Its tab construction transmits torque directly to the shaft groove, so once bent over, the nut is mechanically restrained from backing off during operation.
