Description
Securing plate designed to lock a locknut in position on a shaft, preventing unintended rotation and loosening during operation. Main dimensions are built to DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 115.0 mm and an outside diameter of 159.0 mm. The net mass of the plate is 106.0 g. The tab washer works together with the matching locknut, with its tabs bent into the nut slots and the corresponding shaft groove to secure the axial position once the assembly is tightened. As a securing component rather than a load-carrying bearing part, it requires no lubrication and carries no sealing arrangement, being fitted purely as a mechanical lock for the nut on the shaft.
