Designed to take radial loads and axial loads from both directions in a single-row arrangement, this deep groove ball bearing of Generation C design uses a pressed steel sheet metal cage (JN) and is closed on both sides by shields. Bore is 65 mm, outside diameter 140 mm, width 33 mm, net mass 2.08 kg. Reference speed is 7000 rpm, limiting speed 6200 rpm; bore designation Z. The C3 radial internal clearance (Group 3) is wider than normal, so operating clearance is retained where press fits or temperature differences between inner and outer ring reduce it during running. The shields run without rubbing contact, so they add no frictional torque, while keeping the lubricant in place and coarse particles out. No re-greasing is foreseen through the shields.
