GOS and GOF oil-lubricated housings
Housings for high speeds and temperatures, oil-lubricated through a splash ring. Mostly in fan assemblies.
GOS and GOF are housings for high speeds or high temperatures. Lubrication is by oil, distributed by a steel splash ring.
Sealing is by labyrinth. Where the shaft ends inside the housing, a closed grey cast iron cover replaces the labyrinth on one side. The housings can work as locating or floating bearings.
Air vents and oil level gauges are supplied with the housings.
The difference between GOS and GOF is their overall dimensions and how the upper and lower parts are joined — otherwise the same design. On request GOF is supplied with oil circulating lubrication as GUF.
