Description
This locking washer secures a slotted round nut onto a shaft, preventing the nut from loosening under operating vibration or rotation. Main dimensions are made to DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 110.0 mm and an outside diameter of 154.0 mm. Net mass is 0.091 kg. The part is designated MB22. The tab washer is fitted between the bearing and the locknut, with its internal tab engaging a keyway on the shaft and its outer tabs bent into a slot of the nut after tightening, giving a positive mechanical lock. Correct assembly requires matching the bore diameter to the shaft seat and selecting a locknut with slots aligned to the tab positions of MB22.
