Description
This adapter sleeve provides a mechanical means of mounting a bearing with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical shaft. The bore diameter is 60.0 mm and the sleeve has a net mass of 470.86 g, in standard design. Symbol H313 identifies this component within the FAG range of complete rolling bearing accessories. The tapered outer surface of the sleeve allows the bearing inner ring to be drawn up along the shaft, generating the radial internal clearance reduction needed to fix the bearing in position without requiring a stepped or threaded shaft seat. This construction simplifies mounting and dismounting on plain cylindrical shafts and permits axial adjustment of the bearing along the shaft during installation.
