This adapter sleeve provides a mechanical mounting interface between a bearing with a tapered bore and a cylindrical shaft. As a complete accessory component (FP), it is supplied ready for installation without additional machining. The tapered outer surface of the sleeve allows the bearing to be drawn onto the shaft, generating the correct internal fit and radial internal clearance during mounting.
