Description
This deep groove ball bearing carries radial and moderate axial loads in a single row of balls running in a steel sheet metal cage (JN). Bore diameter is 120.0 mm, outside diameter 215.0 mm, width 40.0 mm, and net mass is 5.5 kg. The limiting speed is rated at 4200 1/min, with a reference speed of 4250 1/min, giving a clear margin for continuous rotation at rated conditions. The C3 internal clearance (Group 3) provides additional radial play, compensating for thermal expansion during operation and interference fits on the shaft or housing. The steel sheet metal cage keeps friction low and supports stable ball guidance at the rated speed range. This bearing is dimensionally and constructionally interchangeable with SKF 6224/C3, NSK 6224C3, and NTN 6224C3.
