Description
This deep groove ball bearing, single row design with a steel sheet metal cage (code JN), is sealed on both sides by rubber lip seals (2RSR). Bore diameter is 40.0 mm, outside diameter 80.0 mm, width 23.0 mm, net mass 0.461 kg, and the limiting speed is 5000 1/min. Radial internal clearance is C3 (Group 3), and the bore type is Z. The 2RSR seals keep grease inside and contaminants out, allowing the bearing to run without external relubrication over its service life. The C3 clearance offsets the reduction in internal clearance caused by an interference fit and temperature rise during operation, so the bearing stays free of unwanted preload after mounting. The steel sheet metal cage holds the balls in position up to the stated limiting speed of 5000 1/min.
