This angular contact ball bearing provides axial guidance of the outer ring through the ball set itself, combining a particularly thick-walled outer ring with a ball and cage assembly and an inner ring in a double row, self-retaining arrangement. Bore diameter is 30.0 mm, outside diameter 72.0 mm, height 23.8 mm, and net mass 0.51 kg. The cage (TVH) is made from glass fibre reinforced polyamide, part of the X-life design. Sealing on both sides (2HRS) uses lip seals with optimised geometry, keeping friction low while protecting the raceways from contamination. Because the outer ring itself acts as the running surface and is self-guided by the balls, the bearing runs as a yoke type track roller without needing a separate retaining flange, and a lubrication hole in the inner ring can be added on request for relubrication in service.
