Description
This unit guides and tensions a roller chain, running on a fixed sprocket wheel mounted on a self-aligning bearing arrangement. The sprocket body is combined with a bearing in one compact housing, with a bore diameter of 15.0 mm and an outside diameter of 40.0 mm. Net mass is 0.34 kg. The sprocket is made from steel or sintered iron. The compact design allows direct mounting as an idler or tensioner in a chain drive without a separate housing, reducing the number of individual components required at the mounting point. The integrated bearing supports smooth rotation of the sprocket under chain load, and the sealed design of the KSR..-B0 series keeps contaminants away from the raceway while retaining the internal grease fill for the working life of the unit.
