The mass of the ring is 18.3 g, and the outer surface running on the rolling elements is hardened for direct contact with needle rollers. Being supplied as an individual component, IR22X26X16-XL allows the assembly to be matched with a shaft of the corresponding diameter, giving a defined internal fit independent of the outer bearing structure. Since no seals or integrated lubrication are included, the ring is intended for installation into an already sealed housing arrangement, where lubrication and axial fixing are handled by the surrounding bearing components.
