Description
This insert bearing carries a spherically ground outer ring and is locked onto the shaft by means of an eccentric locking collar, with the inner ring extended on both sides for stable seating along the shaft. The bore diameter d is 55 mm, weight is 1.35 kg, and the outer diameter D reads 100 mm. Further dimensions taken from the catalogue drawing are: B = 71.3 mm, C = 25 mm, c = 43.5 mm, s = 27.8 mm, c0 = 29.0 mm, d1 = 69.1 mm, d2 = 76.2 mm, and the locking thread m = M 10 x 1.25. The eccentric collar fixing method is intended for one constant direction of shaft rotation, so the mounting orientation should be respected during installation. Both sides are sealed, and the bearing is factory-filled with lithium grease of class 2, which covers running conditions without a separate relubrication line. The extended inner ring on both sides supports axial positioning on the shaft during fitting. A dimensionally and constructionally equivalent type listed is SKF YEL 211.
