Description
This insert bearing carries a spherically ground outer ring and is secured to the shaft by an eccentric locking collar, with the inner ring extended on both sides. Bore diameter d is 25 mm, weight is 0.25 kg. Further dimensions read from the catalogue drawing: B = 44.3 mm, C = 15 mm, D = 52 mm, c = 14.0 mm, m = M 6 x 0.75, s = 17.4 mm, c0 = 7.8 mm, d1 = 33.8 mm, d2 = 38.1 mm. The construction corresponds dimensionally to SKF YEL 205. The eccentric collar locking arrangement fixes the inner ring to the shaft for a constant direction of rotation, so the mounting does not tolerate reversing load direction. Both sides are sealed, with the bearing pre-packed with lithium grease class 2, which sets the running condition at assembly and removes the need for external lubrication at startup. The spherically ground outer ring seats in a housing that allows self-alignment, which is relevant when checking shaft and housing bore alignment during fitting.
