This adapter sleeve provides a mechanical connection between a bearing with a tapered bore and a cylindrical shaft, allowing the bearing to be mounted at any point along the shaft length. It has a bore diameter of 110.0 mm and a net mass of 2.7 kg, built to a standard design. The sleeve is supplied complete with a locknut and locking device (FP), ready for assembly without additional machining. By using a tapered fit rather than a straight bore, this sleeve allows the internal clearance of the mounted bearing to be adjusted during installation through axial displacement, which is useful when mounting on plain shaft sections without a shoulder.
