Description
This adapter sleeve is used to mount a bearing with a tapered bore onto a straight shaft, providing a mechanical fit between the bearing inner ring and the shaft surface. The sleeve H3030 has a bore diameter of 135.0 mm and a net mass of 4.194 kg, built in standard design as a complete component ready for assembly. The tapered outer surface of the sleeve allows the bearing to be drawn up along the shaft, generating the correct internal fit through axial displacement rather than a separate machined taper on the shaft itself. This construction simplifies mounting and dismounting on plain cylindrical shafting and allows the bearing position to be adjusted along the shaft length during installation.
