Description
This plain bush uses a metal/polymer composite construction with a bronze backing, built to ISO 3547 and designed to run without maintenance. Overall width is 10.0 mm and net mass is 2.662 g, giving a compact, lightweight component for radial support in a housing bore. The composite lining eliminates the need for external lubrication over the service life of the bush, since the polymer sliding layer provides the running surface while the bronze backing gives the structural strength and dimensional stability required for a press fit. This construction suits applications where low friction, freedom from grease or oil replenishment, and a thin-walled radial bearing are required, provided that load and speed stay within the limits set by the polymer sliding layer.
