Description

Two rows of rollers arranged on a common spherical raceway allow this spherical roller bearing to compensate for shaft misalignment and deflection under load. The 22220-E1-XL-K-C3 has a bore diameter of 100.0 mm, outside diameter of 180.0 mm, and width of 46.0 mm, with a net mass of 4.86 kg. Main dimensions follow DIN 635-2. The bearing features a tapered bore with a 1:12 taper (bore type K), allowing mounting on a tapered shaft seat or with a sleeve for controlled fit and internal clearance adjustment. Limiting speed is 4550.0 1/min, with a reference speed of 3150.0 1/min. The C3 radial internal clearance (Group 3) provides additional clearance above standard to offset fits and operating temperature effects, keeping the bearing within its intended clearance range once mounted. The JPA cage guides the rollers within the raceway, and the E1 design designates an optimized internal geometry for load distribution across the rollers. With no integrated seals, relubrication is carried out through standard means, and the tapered bore simplifies mounting and dismounting on tapered shaft sections while maintaining precise axial positioning through the taper fit.
