Description
This tapered roller bearing carries combined radial and axial loads through a single row of tapered rollers set at an angle between cone and cup. Main dimensions follow ISO 355, with a bore diameter of 45.0 mm, outside diameter of 95.0 mm, and net mass of 0.927 kg. The bearing is separable, allowing independent mounting of the cone and cup assemblies, and runs with a standard cage up to a limiting speed of 8900 1/min. The separable design simplifies mounting and adjustment of axial clearance during installation, which is required to set the correct preload or working clearance for the tapered roller arrangement. Being a single-row design, it supports axial loads in one direction only, so applications with reversing axial loads require a second bearing mounted in opposing orientation. As supplied without seals or integrated lubrication, the bearing depends on external lubrication and housing sealing arrangements suited to the operating speed and load conditions.
