Description
Secures the locknut axially on the shaft thread by bending one of its tabs into the corresponding groove of the nut, preventing loosening under operating loads. Main dimensions are made to DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 30.0 mm and an outside diameter of 49.0 mm, giving a net mass of 8.0 g. This tab washer is fitted together with the matching locknut on the shaft seat, and one outer tab is bent into a slot in the housing or against a keyway to block rotation while the inner tab locks into the nut groove. Correct sizing to the shaft diameter and nut is required, as the plate itself carries no independent load rating and depends fully on proper tab engagement for reliable axial fixation.
