Description
This securing plate locks an adjacent locknut in position on the shaft, preventing it from loosening under rotation or vibration. It has a bore diameter of 25.0 mm, an outside diameter of 42.0 mm, and a net mass of 6.6 g, with main dimensions built to DIN 5406. The tab is bent into a slot of the locknut and a groove in the shaft, providing a mechanical stop against unscrewing. It carries no radial or axial load itself and requires no lubrication; installation calls for matching the bore diameter to the shaft thread size and bending the tab flush against a flat face of the locknut.
