Description
This securing plate locks the adjusting nut in axial position on the shaft, preventing it from loosening under operating loads. Main dimensions follow DIN 5406, with a bore diameter of 90.0 mm and an outside diameter of 126.0 mm. The net mass is 61.0 g. The tab of the plate is bent into a slot of the shaft or housing while the outer lugs engage the slots of the adjusting nut, giving a positive mechanical lock without additional fasteners. It is used together with the corresponding adjusting nut of matching bore diameter, and installation requires bending the tab flat against the nut face after final tightening.
