This bearing housing combines a linear ball bearing with a closed housing, giving a self-contained unit for guiding shafts in linear motion. It is sealed on both sides and supplied greased, with a relubrication facility allowing fresh grease to be added without dismantling the unit. Width is 60.0 mm, height 52.5 mm, and net mass 0.55 kg. A corrosion-resistant design of the KTHK25-B-PP-AS is possible. The integrated seals keep grease in and contaminants out, so relubrication intervals can be extended once the unit is mounted on a shaft. Since the housing and bearing form one unit, alignment of the linear ball bearing is fixed by the housing bore, simplifying installation on straight shafting where axial travel and smooth, low-friction sliding motion are required.
