This needle roller bearing is a stud type track roller with an outside diameter of 40.0 mm and a net mass of 0.23 kg. It is built as a single row needle roller and cage assembly set into a particularly thick-walled outer ring, mounted on a solid roller stud with a fixing thread and a mounting aid for installation. Axial guidance of the outer ring is provided by plastic axial plain washers together with a contact flange and a contact washer, and sealing is realized in three stages by plastic axial plain washers (PP) on both sides. The design does not include an eccentric collar. The thick-walled outer ring and needle roller and cage assembly allow the roller to carry radial track loads while running directly on its outer surface. The three-stage PP sealing on both sides limits ingress of contaminants into the raceway area, and axial guidance through the plastic washers and contact flange keeps the outer ring positioned without a separate axial bearing. The solid stud with fixing thread and mounting aid simplifies alignment and fastening during installation, and the absence of an eccentric collar means the track position is fixed rather than adjustable.
