Description
This locknut secures bearings with an adapter or withdrawal sleeve on the shaft, preventing axial displacement during operation. Main dimensions are made to DIN 981, with a width of 6.0 mm and a net mass of 21.0 g, allowing correct fit and torque transfer on the mating thread. Locking is achieved together with a matching lock washer, which engages the slots of the nut and prevents it from loosening under vibration or shaft rotation. The compact width keeps axial space requirements low, making the nut suitable wherever a slim locking arrangement is needed on the shaft thread specified for KM4.
