Limiting speed is rated at 15600 1/min, with a reference speed of 11700 1/min. The drawn cup construction with open ends allows the bearing to be pressed directly into a housing bore, with the shaft acting as the inner raceway. This requires a hardened and ground shaft surface to achieve proper running accuracy, since the bearing itself has no inner ring.
