This split plummer block housing is designed to DIN 736 to 739 and accepts a shaft of 35 mm, accommodating self-aligning ball bearings and spherical roller bearings mounted on the corresponding insert or adapter arrangement. The housing is built for grease lubrication only, with no provision for oil supply, which sets the maintenance interval and relubrication method for the assembly. The split construction allows the housing to be mounted and dismounted without axial displacement of the shaft, useful where the shaft is already positioned in the line.
