Description
This adapter sleeve enables mounting of bearings with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical shaft seat, transferring clamping force evenly around the bore diameter of 45.0 mm. The sleeve has a standard design and a net mass of 0.377 kg, matching the dimensional series of the corresponding bearing bore. Fitted between the shaft and the bearing bore, the sleeve is drawn up with a locknut to achieve the correct interference fit and internal clearance reduction during mounting. This allows precise axial positioning along the shaft and simplifies mounting and dismounting compared with a direct interference fit, while maintaining accurate bearing seating on the shaft.
