Description
This rod end features an external right-hand thread and a steel/steel sliding contact surface, built to DIN ISO 12240-4, dimension series E, type M, in open design. Net mass is 0.932 kg, radial internal clearance falls in group CN (Group N), and the unit is supplied without sealing. The steel/steel sliding surface requires maintenance, so relubrication has to be scheduled to keep the sliding contact working correctly. As the joint is open and unsealed, the contact surface stays exposed to the surrounding environment, so protection against contamination must be arranged separately. The external right-hand thread allows direct mounting into a threaded connection, and the CN radial internal clearance corresponds to the standard clearance group for this rod end type.
