Description
This spherical roller bearing accommodates radial loads together with angular misalignment between shaft and housing, made possible by its two rows of rollers running on a common spherical outer ring raceway. Main dimensions follow DIN 635-2: bore diameter 240.0 mm, outside diameter 360.0 mm, width 118.0 mm, net mass 40.885 kg. It has a tapered bore with 1:30 taper (K30), design BE, cage JPB, limiting speed 1710.0 1/min and reference speed 980.0 1/min. The C4 radial internal clearance provides extra internal play, compensating for the tighter fit resulting from mounting on a tapered seat with an adapter or withdrawal sleeve, and for thermal expansion during operation under load. The tapered bore allows mounting directly on a tapered shaft or with a sleeve, simplifying fitting and dismounting compared to a cylindrical bore. Being an open design without integrated sealing, it requires external sealing arrangements and lubrication maintenance according to the standard relubrication feature.
