- Choosing a housing when all you know is the shaftThe plate is worn, the bearing designation is unreadable and the machine is down. What is left is a caliper. Here is the path from a measured shaft to a specific housing — and the traps along the way.
- SNI or SD — which split housing to chooseBoth are split, both take a spherical roller bearing on an adapter sleeve. They differ in the standard they follow, the seat tolerance, the seal supplied as standard and how much they carry. Here are the differences that actually decide.
